We get many requests for Saint Peregrine chaplets. This saddens us because it is a chaplet we wish was not needed. We are, however, grateful for Saint Peregrine whose intercession has brought healing and comfort to many cancer patients. Because Saint Peregrine is so often called upon, we felt it is time to offer a full rosary in his honor.

Because white is the color of hope, we chose simple white glass beads for this rosary. Green is the color symbolic of life. For this reason, we chose green aventurine for the Paters and accented this rosary with moss agate. Every element in this rosary symbolizes its prayer and hope for healing. A Saint Peregrine center and simple Mission crucifix complete this very limited rosary which measures 20 ½”.

Limited to an addition of two.
Your Saint Peregrine rosary will be shipped in a fabric pouch and gift box.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine for Sick Relatives and Friends

O great Saint Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty", "The Wonder Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years, you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.
You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:
(here mention their names)
Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude
to God for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine for One Suffering from Cancer

Dear St. Peregrine, I need your help. I feel so uncertain of my life right now.
This serious illness makes me long for a sign of God's love.
Help me to imitate your enduring faith when you faced the ugliness of cancer and surgery.
Allow me to trust the Lord the way you did in this moment of distress.
I want to be cured, but right now I ask God for the strength to bear the cross in my life.
I seek the power to proclaim God's presence in my life despite the hardship,
anguish and fear I now experience.
O Glorious St. Peregrine, be an inspiration to me and petitioner of those needed
graces from our loving Father.
Amen.

Peregrine Laziosi was born of a wealthy family at Forli, Italy, in 1260. As a youth, he was active in politics and a member of the anti-papal party. During one uprising, the Pope sent Saint Philip Benizi to mediate. In anger Peregrine struck Saint Philip in the face. When Philip offered the other cheek, Peregrine was so overcome that he repented and converted to Catholicism. In a vision, the Virgin Mary instructed him to go to Siena and join the Servites. He obeyed. It is believed that for thirty years, he never allowed himself to sit down and as far as possible, he remained in silence and solitude.
Sometime later, Peregrine was sent to Forli to found a new house of the Servite Order. An ultimate priest, he had a reputation for passionate preaching and being a superior confessor. He became afflicted with cancer of his foot, and an amputation was decided upon. Saint Peregrine spent the entire night before the amputation, in prayer. The following morning he was completely cured. This miracle caused his reputation to become widespread. Peregrine died in 1345 at the age of eighty-five, and was canonized by Pope Benedict XIII in 1726.
St. Peregrine, like St. Paul, was in open defiance of the Church as a youth. Once given the grace of conversion he became one of the great saints of his time. His great fervor and qualities as a confessor brought many back to the true Faith. Afflicted with cancer, Peregrine turned to God and was richly rewarded for his faith, enabling him over many years to lead others to the truth. He is the patron of cancer patients.
