John the forerunner was the cousin of Jesus and the last of the prophets.  We recognize him, in this rosary, by the color and use of the beads. The color is honey as was his food. We go one step further as we  see the  Paters,  with their black  markings, as a combination of locusts and honey.

Czech glass Aves are joined by glowing yellow Bavarian glass which  symbolizes the radiance surrounding Jesus as the Heavens opened.  Murano glass Paters  are flanked with black glass  which is  intended, once again, to remind us of  the locusts or, perhaps, the  annoyances  in our own lives which are given to lead us to prayer which will bring us to a new beginning.  Completed in bronze, with a dove center which calls us to the Holy Spirit and a thistle crucifix representing John’s wilderness, this  limited edition rosary measures 23”.

Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey
Matthew 3:4
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”  But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.  And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Matthew 3:13-20

This rosary, representing the First Luminous Mystery, is dedicated to the sacrament of Baptism.
